Wataniya Copies VIVA Contest? وطنية تقلد مسابقة فيفا؟
I am not sure if they ment to or not, but it pretty much looks like Wataniya have copied VIVA’s instagram contest idea. From the very 1st day of Ramadan VIVA has started an instagram competition for girls(which I posted about here). They had to take a picture of their Ramadan outfit and the person with the most ‘likes’ on VIVA’s account wins a 2,000 KD gift voucher from 360 Mall.
Apparently Wataniya Telecom “supposedly” got the same idea and started the competition a few days before VIVA ended theirs. I’m not saying they did it on purpose, I’m just saying it just seems that way. Professionally speaking they probably should have not done that as not to give the impression that they copying.
Note: VIVA prize = 2,000 360 style voucher VS. Wataniya Prize = Blackberry
